Recognize the famous house in the background? That’s Fallingwater by Frank Lloyd Wright. Oh yeah … I like this picture from our travels last summer. It’s a pretty easy task to find the best one now. Step 3: Now click on any face, and you’ll find all the photos of that person in your account. Step 2: In there, navigate to the Explore tab, and you’ll find a row of faces under People. Once Google Photos has a name, that person gets their own album and all images with their face in them get added. You're able to click on these faces and give them a name. Now I’m looking at 62 pictures where both Jim and I are in the photo. Step 1: Open your preferred web browser and log in to your Google Photos account. With this, Google Photos can recognize the faces of both people and animals and pull them out for you. Tap Menu (three horizontal lines in the top left corner). In the people pane, click on a picture of me. Turn on Face Grouping Google scans the picture for faces only if you have enabled the face grouping feature.Click on the People button in the lower right corner – that opens up the People pane and you will see all the other faces that appear in the selected pictures. Head over to Google Photos on the web, open the People tab (under your albums), and youll likely see a suggestion box like the one above for merging similar faces.Click on the People album for Jim (that one click narrowed it down to 347 pictures selected).Click the icon with three vertical dots in the upper-right corner and select Remove results. ![]() How long do you think it took me to go thru my 25,000 pictures and find the best one that has both me and Jim in it? 1 hour? 2 hours? Open the face group with the wrong photos. Have you ever needed to find a photo of you and your spouse together? I recently did. ![]() As you take more photos with more people, you’ll be able to find photos that they’re in by tapping their face. If you start to upload more photos with the same person, they will appear in a bubble when you tap or click on the search bar. But, I have found a really good use for it myself and I want to pass that along. If you upload photos without location tags, you can also edit it to add the location manually. Some people adore the Face Recognition feature in Picasa – just ask anyone researching their family genealogy! Some people find it a nuisance.
